A new project from Chile’s Qal Mana circle with E (Asiratic Lithomancy, Kos) handling vocals and lyrics. Majestic midtempo guitar melodies blanketed in swaths of synthesizer evoke the works of Nahtrunar and Nokturnal Mortum. Guitar solos in the style of Old Man’s Child ornament the skyward-reaching harmonic structures, while E’s fearsome snarl erects six ritual monuments to the futility and meaninglessness of existence. The cassette release is beautifully complemented by the art of Vhan of Berzerk Ritual Productions.
